So if you’ve watched my last Video you would have heard my Big Reveal! No I am not Referring to the GiveAway happening Right Now on my Youtube Channel ( Which by the way you can still Enter to win a gift Hamper… ) but the other part where I was confessing to beening a Foodie…Yes I am a food lover & recently started thinking of including Food on this blog so when I got the Invite to try out the Meun at Romulo Cafe I thought well why not! To be honest I had never tried any authentic Filipino food before Yesterday & really had no ideal what to expect, All I was praying was for the meal to at least be edible but hey was I pleasantly Surprised! From Starters down to Desserts, Hospitality Down to Restaurant Atmosphere, Romulo scores 5/5 for me..Now Let me take you guys on this experience with me through somes images….

To Start us off , we where offered a Filipino Homemade Delicacy called Pandesal & Honestly after taking a bit I was sold! As if the tasty freshly baked breads wasn’t already exciting my taste buds enough I got the Imelda’s High Heels Cocktail, Yes it came in an actual Heel!

Next we moved on to Starters & we where recommended by our amazing host to try out their Chef Lorenzo’s take on Pork Sisiq  (Chopped sear pork belly with pickled apples & more ) & their Tuna Kilawin ( marinated Fresh Fish Ceviche )…. They tasted even better than they sound, after the Starters we honestly could not wait for what’s to come next!

Lets just say spoilt for choice don’t even start to compensate for what I, well we felt when our mains arrived..They were so much varieties to suit all personal preferences, from unique authentic Vegetables to Amazing Lamb & Beef meals, Tasty Fish & curry Dishes, you name it & you have it! To mention a few we had the Tadyang Crispy Beef ribs, Romulo Style curry, Pancit Palabok, Adobo Marinated lamb shank , ok am done as I can’t take the torture anymore…Yes I already want to go back there!

Just when we thought we couldn’t take anymore pleasures we were blessed with Desserts! Their version of Sans Rival won everyone on my table, however the Maja Blanca did it for me. Oh did I mention my second cocktail Boracay Dreams? it literally was a dream with some coconuts, pineapples, malibu & More; their cocktails stands at £8.50 with Started & Desserts standing from £6.00…but I promise that it will be worths every penny Spent! Lets just say Yesterday ended up being one of my best mondays’ in a long while & I can not wait to be back there again!

Let me know if you guys have tried Filipino Cuisines before & what your fav dishes & places to go are..
