Welcome back guys and if this is your first time reading my blog then thanks for visiting! Today’s outfit is centred on my £3 Metallic Dress which I found from Primark whilst picking up items for my winter haul Video which by the way is now up on my Youtube Channel ( https://youtu.be/g_yhzLO4xE0 ) One of my main motive for my haul was to create a Valentine Lookbook or Outfit inspiration hence I was reminded of the items I had also picked in December that I hadn’t yet talked about. In the process I found this dress, honestly I only paid attention to the price & fabric at first, however once I got home I realised how beautiful the dress actually was but still I hesitated to include it in my lookbook simply because of the price & occasion for the lookbook, which brings me to ask Should the Price really Matter?
I honestly can say I was being dramatic after rethinking; just because the dress is expensive don’t make it right for any occasion & vice versa. I have been in positions where I had simply returned pieces that I thought I had to have but later realised they just wasn’t right regardless of the price or shop. Somewhere along the line we have been convinced that if the occasion is perceived as important so should our clothings, so we try tirelessly to outdo ourselves. However we should wear our clothes and not the other way round which means in some cases its honestly totally acceptable to wear whatever dress you feel is right despite the price or event, or maybe i’m just being naive!
How about you guys, Would you wear a dress Under £10 or $10 for an event that others would rather spend lots of money on? What about this look for a subtle date night look? Lastly how important is the price of your dress or outfit in order for you to feel confident in them? Let me know in the comment section below & Do not forget to check out my Haul Video for lots of pieces that aint £3 lol .
